Vereeniging gun shop left abandoned for two years

 

“Police seized a total of three hundred and thirty (330) various types of firearms and ammunitions for safe keeping and investigations.”

 

VEREENIGING. – Police opened a case and seized various types of firearms after a gun shop was left abandoned for two years recently. The case docket for negligent handling of firearms was launched for Crusaders Arms and Ammunitions in Kruger Street Vereeniging.

 

Police spokesperson Captain Tshilate said, “The Crusaders Arms and Ammunitions Shop was abandoned or left unguarded for the period of almost two years by the owner after failing to settle the building monthly rentals and police seized a total of three hundred and thirty (330) various types of firearms and ammunitions for safe keeping and investigations to see if there were no firearms used in the commission of crimes.”
