Koppies Community Health Centre will be closed with immediate effect and will re-open on Monday, 11 January 2021.
This is due to some personnel members that tested positive for Covid-19. The clinic will be deep cleaned.
The mobile service in town is also terminated until further notice.
A mobile bus will now be stationed at Koppies Community Health Centre  from 7 to 8 January 2021 for Pubic Heealth Care services.
The cases in Koppies has escalated in the last 3 weeks and it is clear that guidelines to prevent Covid-19 are not adhered to, the Fezile Dabi Health Care Services said in their statement.
The community are urged to comply to the  preventative measures for Covid-19 by washing and/or sanitize hands regularly, clean and/or sanitize surfaces in public spaces, wearing of masks and apply social distancing.

Parys Police Station
Please also take note that the Parys Police Station is  currently closed due to positive Covid-19 testing.
The station’s Community Service Centre will operate from the Victim Empowerment Centre on the Police Station’s premises. The entrance will be the main gate.
