TWO SOUGHT FOR HIJACKING IN VILJOENSDRIFT

The police in Viljoensdrift are on a lookout for two suspects – a male and a female –  in connection with a car hijacking.

It is alleged that the suspects arrived at a second hand dealership in Vereeniging, pretending to buy a Polo 6 vehicle.

The complainant took them for a test drive. Whilst on the road the suspects stopped on the side of the road and pointed the complainant with a firearm and ordered him to get out of the vehicle.

The complainant refused and a fist fight ensued. He was then hit with a firearm and thrown out of the vehicle and left on the side of the road.

The suspects are between 30 and 35 years.

The male was wearing a blue scotch shirt and dark pants. His hair was shaved whilst the female suspect was wearing blue stripped overall dress with brown long wig.

Anyone with information on who these suspects are, or recognizes their faces should please contact Detective Warrant Officer Leon De Klerk on 072 484 9046 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111, alternatively send information via MySAPS App.
