On Monday 3 August the total of confirmed Covid-19 cases for the Free State Province was 23 705. The province has till now recorded 277 deaths and 10 582 recoveries.

For the Fezile Dabi District of which Ngwathe forms part, 3 726 cases were reported as on 3 August.

The total for Ngwathe then was 724 confirmed cases of Covid-19.
