Every day South Africans see the latest stats – new infection, deaths.
Mainstream media started reporting on how we are on our way to nearly 400 000 cases of Covid-19 for SA.
Yet we sometimes forget the bigger picture.
Over 229 175 South Africans already recovered from Covid-19. This is 21 031 more than the figure given yesterday of those who recovered.
Thus the active cases in SA now totals 159 833. Did you now that this is 8 453 less than yesterday.
Yes the death toll now is 5 940 – 572 more than yesterday.
Yes we do see police stations, schools, clinics etc closing for decontamination – and then reopening. We do hear of positive cases all over – but don’t forget when seeing the stats, to also look at those who recovered.
Look after your health, stay safe and do wear your mask and wash your hands regularly.
We have to look at the bigger picture.
