Temporary closure of Municipal Building and Parys Clinic due to COVID-19 case. 

Joint Statement by Ngwathe Local Municipal and Free State Department of Health

The Free State Department of Health and Ngwathe local municipality have  temporarily closed their buildings with immediate effect after a health official in Parys clinic tested positive for COVID-19.
The health services will not be interrupted as the Parys clinic is running its operations from a mobile health service in the same vicinity where the municipality also performs its operations.
We guarantee the people of Ngwathe that services will not be interrupted as we have set up alternative service points whilst the affected offices are decontaminated, contact tracing done and affected officials are handled in line with workplace Occupational Health and Safety Covid19 guidelines which require Risk Assessments to be done.
