Police looking for N12 hijackers

The communication officer of the police in Fochville, Sgt Elsie Tshonte, says that the hijacking for which the men are wanted occurred at the large fourway crossing of the N12 and the R500 on 27 June at about 18:30.
The victim, a 31-year-old man was driving his company vehicle, a white single cab Ford Ranger bakkie with the registration number HBK 727 FS when the hijacking took place.
At the fourway stop, a Nissan Hardbody bakkie raced past him and blocked his vehicle in front. Three unknown men jumped out and pointed firearms at the men.
“The suspects are between the ages of 35 to 39 years old. Two were speaking Zulu, and the other one Zulu with a Tsonga accent,” Tshonte says.
“The police are appealing to the community to not try to confront the suspects as they are armed and dangerous. We also want to remind the community to be vigilant and observant all the time when approaching stop signs,” she adds.
Anyone who sees the men must call the police at 10111 or 018 771 1103/4, at the Crime stop number 08600 10111 or the investigator in the case Sergeant Mantanga on 082 412 4461.
