Well-known traffic officer dies

Andrew Roberts, who was known for the past almost 40 years as traffic officer in Parys, has passed away on 11 January. He was 62. The funeral service will be on Saturday 19 January.
Andrew was Chief Provincial Inspector at the Provincial Traffic Department at the time of his death. He started as traffic officer at Provincial Traffic years ago, before he was appointed as Municipal Traffic Officer at Ngwathe, where he worked for about 23 years. In 2016 he went back to Provincial Traffic. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Florence, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, sisters, brother and father.
