Community participates in 16 Days of Activism

Tumahole community members took part in an Awareness Day as part of the 16 Days of Activism against Violence towards Women and Children on Saturday, 1 December.
The organisers arranged a peaceful march from the Tumahole taxi rank to the Fezile Dabi Stadium.


There, they held a sports’ day that included soccer and netball games. Players from as far as Midrand, Viljoenskroon, Bothaville and Bloemfontein participatedt.
The organisers also handed out Christmas presents at the Stadium.
Elebone sponsored the day and DESTEA MEC Maki Mahasa, representatives of the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture, and SAPS members attended the event.
The 16 Days of Activism ends on 10 December.
