Thanks to a generous donation from Se-Ki Weng, 100 needy people will have reason to smile this Christmas. Each one will get to wear a brand new pair of shoes.
The donation was divided into 35 pairs for the residents of Epilepsy SA’s Free State/NW Centre in Parys, 35 pairs for the Glennifer House, and 30 pairs to Free State Care in Action. These organisations will, in turn, distribute the shoes among those who need them the most.
On Monday, Se-Ki Weng, in co-operation with Parys Gazette, handed the shoes to the various organisations for distribution to the beneficiaries.
