The first ever Art on the Bank day, in conjunction with the very popular Hartelus Market, attracted almost 2 000 visitors and a variety of stalls, with about 20 live performances, bands, poets, dancers and entertainers. Some 40 artworks were sold and the food and drinks sold out. If you missed out the Art on the Bank Day, make sure you don’t miss this weekend’s family fun picnic day with Music on the Bank on Saturday 14 April.

Auctioned for R1 700 in aid of the local SPCA. This beautiful artwork  was made during the ArtDog event.  Thanks to artist, Hennie Kruger who gave it the final touch, this is something really special. In addition to this amount, R5 600 was raised in entry fees for ArtDog and will  also go to SPCA.
