Rotary and Epilepsy SA collaborate on Vaal Trail Runs for 2017

Come and run in the beautiful Vredefort Dome in aid of local charities! The Vaal Wildlife Trail Runs for 2017 will be held as a 1-day event on Saturday 18 February as part of International Epilepsy Week. The venue is The Dell on the Vaal Eden Road. There will be 2 runs, the 15 km Antelope and the 7 km Wildebeest Trail Runs. The 15 km Antelope Trail Run always gets excellent reviews with its fantastic panorama of the Vredefort Dome and Vaal River from the viewpoint at the top of the hill that makes this challenging run worthwhile.

The 7 km Wildebeest Trail Run is a    family-friendly run along a short stretch of river bank and around a field.
There will be medals for all finishers in both runs. Online entries are available at www.entrytime.com or by downloading an entry form at https://domerunners.vdome.co.za/ and sending the completed entry form and proof of payment to secretary.rotaryparys@gmail.com. A special early bird  rate applies to entries before 31 December. Entry fees for the Antelope are early bird Z R200, 1 January to 15 February Z R250 and, on the day, R300. For the Wildebeest, early Bird, R120, 1 January to 15 February R150 and on the day, R200.
This is a joint fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Parys and Epilepsy SA Free State and North West Branch, which will share the profits 50/50.
