As far as can be determined police are still on the scene.
Two men were injured this morning after an apparent farm attack on a farm on the D1365, roughly 15km outside of Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found local authorities already in attendance.
On assessment, paramedics found two men lying outside of the farm house. Assessments showed that both men had sustained gunshot wounds to their lower legs.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Laratong hospital for further treatment.
It is believed that an unknown number of men entered the residence. The occupants immediately called the local authorities and nearby farm residences for aid.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities will be investigating further.
