Ex-boyfriend in court for murder

A 32-year-old suspect, Tshepo Mosepidi appeared in the Magistrates court on Wednesday 20 July on a charge of murder. The case was postponed to 4 August for formal bail application and the suspect remained in custody.

A 32-year-old suspect, Tshepo Mosepidi appeared in the Magistrates court on Wednesday 20 July on a charge of murder. The case was postponed to 4 August for formal bail application and the suspect remained in custody.
It is alleged that on Monday 18 July at about 06:00 the suspect arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s home and demanded to talk to her. During their conversation an argument started. The deceased’s friend, who was sleeping at that time, alleged that she heard the deceased screaming for help.
She then allegedly found Tshepo stabbing his ex-girlfriend with a knife.
She then went outside and asked neighbours to come and assist.  Police were notified and traced the suspect who had fled the scene. He was arrested the same day at about 17:00
A case of murder was registered and investigated by Tumahole SAPS.
