SEBOKENG. – Gauteng Premier David Makhura will today deliver the 2016 State of the Province Adress (SOPA) under the theme “Parliament :Following up on our Commitments to the people.” The auspicious event takes place at at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in zone 14, Sebokeng.
The Premier’s SOPA provides an opportunity for the Premier to account for the commitment made last year and spell out Gauteng Provincial Government’s plan of action and service delivery priorities for the year 2016 and beyond – as mandated by Gauteng citizens.
This 3rd session of the 5th Gauteng Provincial Legislature will be presided over by the Honourable Speaker of the Gauteng Legislature Ntombi Mekgwe.
“There will be live screening of the Premier’s address open to the public at Sebokeng Stadium, Zone 17 Sebokeng. The SOPA will also be broadcast live on local radio and television stations.”
