Residents of Mantariana happy to receive donations

Kopanang Community Centre recently reached out to punch drunk residents of Mantariana, Blyvoor.

Tshidi Ramodupi and her organisation from Fochville donated food, clothing and even water. Blyvoor is experiencing a major water crisis at the moment. In an expression of their gratitude, Mantariana residents sang and danced for the good samaritans while the latter were preparing food for them.

Ramodupi is concerned about the community because, she says, the truck that provides water only comes around every five days. There is never enough to go around, and many have to go without. Some residents admit that they drink other beverages because there is no water. Those who do not have the money to buy alternatives find themselves in big trouble.

Ramodupi has promised to do everything within her power to help the residents of Mantariana.
