ER24 Potchefstroom Branch recently showed their ability to handle almost any emergency scenario, by hosting colleagues from other branches within the region.
Branch managers, advanced life support paramedics and staff from neighbouring bases all popped into Potchefstroom to interact with our local crews and community and to share ideas of how to provide real help, real fast. Potchefstroom residents expressed concern on noticing the 23 ER24 emergency vehicles parked outside the Potchefstroom branch, some asking Gavin Edwards the local branch manager, “What does ER24 know that the public doesn’t?”
The project was aimed at getting ER24 closer to the community it serves, while at the same time, spending time with other crews from other areas, exchanging ideas on how to provide the best service possible. Recently, ER24 Potchefstroom teamed up with Mooirivier Beskerming in order to provide medical care to their clients, and this project afforded Mooirivier Beskerming an opportunity to interact with the ER24 crew and showcase their available resources in dealing with crime and security in Potchefstroom. ER24 is committed, not only to providing real help, real fast, but constantly striving towards an extremely high level of quality care.
The recent interaction demonstrated that ER24 is not limited by resources and the Potchefstroom branch is well supported by the neighbouring bases, ready to assist the local crews with access to a considerable fleet of rapid intervention vehicles and ambulances. In addition, Potchefstroom is fortunate to have immediate, direct access to two emergency medical helicopters.
The local ER24 crews managed to impress medics from other bases, who complimented the local team on doing a fantastic job, comparing favourably with the larger bases in the region.
