Well Done recognition for teachers of primary schools in Fezile Dabi

Well done to all our schools and teachers acknowledged

Teachers from several schools in Parys and Vredefort were among those recognised at the Fezile Dabi District’s Well Done function for primary schools. The function happened in Villiers on 15 April. The deputy Minister of Education, the director general and the HoD in the Free State attended the
event.

Adele Human (Economic Management and Science grade 7) and Joanne Boonzaier (Social Sciences grade 7) from Dome Primary were honoured with awards. M.A. Nkosiyaphantsi of Selogilwe Primary School was recognised for his achievement in Natural Sciences grade 7. Parys

Adéle Human and Joanne Boonzaier ofDome Primary School received recognition at the Fezile Dabi District Well Done  function for primary schools.

Primary’s personnel were recognised for Afrikaans and Social Sciences, while Vredefort Primary’s Thandiwe Mtikitiki received
a certificate for English book review, and Mrs Palesa Mokotedi, as teacher.

Mokwallo Primary School’s Cornelia Joubert was recognised as a provincial AMESA presenter.
The criteria considered for the awards
included:
* a 100 per cent pass rate for grades 4 to 7 with an average of 60 per cent plus.
* 95 per cent of learners in grades 4 to 7 passed with a 60 per cent plus average.
* 60 per cent of learners grades 4 to 7 passed Home Langauge with 60 per cent plus.
* 60 per cent of learners grades 4 to 7 passed Mathematics with 60 per cent plus.
* 60 per cent of learners in grade 7 passed Natural Sciences with 60 per cent plus
* the number of distinctions in both languages and Mathematics in grades 4 to 7.
* 60 per cent of learners in grades 4-7 passed, with 60 per cent plus in Technology,
Social Sciences and Economic Management
