Once again, the skies over Parys will be alive with spectacular aerobatics, formation flying and aircraft displays as the Parys Airshow comes to town on Saturday 3 June.Up to 26 display acts will take part in this year’s airshow incorporating an array of breath taking
aerobatics flying and aircraft display.

Beamish in their Extra 330s, the Raptors RV Formation, the Hired Guns Pitts formation and the Marksmen aerobatic team amongst many others. Aside from the formation aerobatics, the crowd will be entertained by the L39 Albatross jet display, Oscar Goudriaan in his jet glider, Menno Parsons and his helicopter display, the gyrocopter display and the Sandriver crop sprayers flying super low and doing a spectacular water dump across the display area.
Hosted by former South African aerobatics champion and doyen of aerobatics formation flying, Captain Scully Levin, and organised by Creative Space Media, publishers of aviation web platform and magazine Smoke On…Go!, the Parys Air Show is a thrilling event and considered one of the top airshows in the country.

Gates open at 08h30 and visitors will have the opportunity to browse the market stalls offering food and beverages alongside arts and crafts, clothing and accessories. There’s also a beer garden close to the airside action.

Over 4 000 people attended last year’s show. The Parys Airshow is the perfect day out for the whole family, filled with entertainment for aviation enthusiasts and all those fascinated by precision aerobatics and magnificent aircraft.
