Excellent results for Tumahole Chess Club at Trio Provincial Cohesion

Congratulations to all the players

Sedibeng Chess Club recently organised the Trio Provincial Cohesion teams chess tournament at the Mafatsane Hall in Evaton. Teams from the Free State, Gauteng and North West provinces participated, including the Matlosana A and B teams, Rand Water team, Sedibeng A, B, C, D and E, and Tumahole Chess Club team.
Each team had five players. The tournament was played as a round robin (each team played against all teams), with five medals and three trophies up for grabs for the top three teams, and three medals for the best-
performing players for table/board 1, board 2 and board 3.

Mr Tshediso Ramabodu acted as the chief arbiter and Mr Lefu Lepota as the tournament organiser. The participating clubs thanked Gauteng for a wonderful tournament, Rand Water for sponsoring the water and Jama Funeral Parlour, for the fruit.
The players showed up in numbers.
