OCSA: How they are involved in you community

OCSA caters for children, the family, the elderly and strategic partners.

Poverty and unemployment. These are the key factors hampering progress and personal development in the country.
With this in mind Operation Compas- sion South Africa (OCSA), as a National Organisation, aims at promoting the needs of all communities in the country – striving to serve the welfare sector in a comprehensive way to make a difference.
As a non-profit organisation registered in terms of section 28, their main focus is to empower the community to be selfsuffi- cient, but they also render support services on all aspects to promote the quality of life.
OCSA now also has a branch in Parys and they firmly believe in equipping all ages to improve themselves in order to improve employment opportunities and drive stability.
With the help of sponsors like Hy-Line they already contribute to the feeding schemes run by churches in town. They are also planning more projects for 2020 as soon as they have more funds available..

You can support their family event on 5 & 6 October at Koedoeslaagte, where a MTB 3km, 7, 5km and 19 km cycling event will be held, as well as a 2,5 km and 10 km trail run. Online entries are welcome at www.ocsaparys.org or phone 082 894 5568. Closing date for entries is 27 September.
