Golf fun for Dome Festival

The Vaal de Grace Golf and Country Estate is hosting a golf trophy event on Saturday 29 October as part of the Dome Adventure Festival in Parys 28 to 30 October.
The format will be an 18-hole Better Ball Stableford (2 to count) to be played on the prestigious Vaal de Grace golf course. The event is open to all men and women with official handicaps (any combination).
The winners will be the team with the best Stableford points over 18 holes and will receive a floating trophy plus R2 000 each. The members of the  runner-up team will each receive R1 000. There will also be attractive prizes in individual competitions for the winner, runner-up, nearest to the pin and longest drive. Tee-off time is between 06:00 to 08:20 and the competition fee is R390. This includes green fees, competition entry fee, golf carts and an entry ticket for both Friday and Saturday at the Afri Dome where the Dome Adventure Festival will stage live bands, food and other stalls.
Golf carts must be booked directly with the Pro Shop at Vaal de Grace Golf Estate. The prize giving will be held at the Vaal de Grace clubhouse at 16:00 on Saturday, 29 October.
