The National Department of Health will be conducting a nationwide integrated child health campaign with the first round starting from 12 September to 30 September. The second round is from 31 October to 11 November.
The following services will be rendered during the first round of the campaign:
1. Measles vaccine injection to prevent children from measles disease from 6 months to 59 months.
2. Mebendazole Deworming tablet to prevent children from intestinal worm infection from 24 months to 59 months.
3. Vitamin A Supplement drops to assist in strengthening the immune system from 12 months to 59 months.
4. Nutritional Screening (Measurement of the upper arm and assess the swelling of the feet) to identify all children aged 6 months to 59 months malnutrition and refer if necessary.
The following services will be rendered during the second round of the campaign.
1. Polio vaccine drops will be given to all children from birth to 59 months.
