Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates supporters came to the rescue of a pensioner of the Vuka section in Tumahole. In June
this year, he lost all his belongings after a devastating house fire.

Petrus Moagi Modiko, who worked as a darkroom assistant at the X-Ray department of the Parys District Hospital before he
retired, was alone in the house when he woke up to the smell of smoke.

Neighbours came to his rescue to get him out of the burning house, but none of his belongings could be saved. He was admitted
to the Parys District Hospital for treatment as he is diabetic and suffered major trauma after the event. Mamelodi Sundowns and
Orlando Pirates supporters have since donated clothes and other needed items, with the promise to render more help in the future.
