MEC of Health meets with international students

The MEC will facilitate Ministerial engagements with the HPCSA, Pharmacy Council and SANC. 

The Free State Department of Health held another engagement session with South African Health Professionals (Doctors, Pharmacists, Medical Technologists and Nurses) who studied abroad but have difficulties to pass through the hurdle of  Board Exams to be admitted to practice their trade in South Africa.
According to the Department’s spokesperson, the Free State Department of Health has paid  R12 m to the University of the Free State to assist the 150 graduates from Russia, China and Turkey to prepare for the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Board Exams
Mvambi added that the MEC will facilitate Ministerial engagements with the HPCSA, Pharmacy Council and SANC.
