The rumours are true! The global phenomenon that is The Color Run is returning to Potchefstroom on 3 September.
In association with the Habitat Potch Lentefees, The Happiest 5km on the Planet™ will see hundreds of happy Color Runners, hop, skip, walk, jog, and even run through the course of this untimed 5 km fun run.
The Color Run encourages health, individuality, giving back to the community and, very importantly: happiness. At each kilometre point of the course, participants are pelted with a different colour paint powder. Starting the race in pristine white official Rainbow Tour T-shirts, Color Runners finish the race as walking rainbows.
The Finish Festival – open to all participating Color Runners, is filled with entertainment, MCs, the world-famous coordinated Color Blasts, competitions and giveaways.
Tickets can be bought online at www.thecolorrun.co.za for R250 or for R300 on the day, and Color Runners will each receive a race pack which includes the exclusive 2016 Rainbow Tour edition race T-Shirt, headband, bag of colour powder, temporary tattoos, and a race number. Additionally, every Color Runner will receive a R200 voucher from Superbalist.com, to be redeemed against a minimum spend of R650 (Ts&Cs apply).
Attending The Color Run will also give you access on the day to the Habitat Potch Lentefees. It will be held at the Joolplaas. The starting gun goes off at 10:00 so be sure to get there early to find parking and to get your fairy wings on.
