Two children, a 4 year old boy and his 6 year old sister passed away on Sunday 10 March after they, and their 9 year old sister, allegedly ate food that was left outside from the previous night.
Police spokesperson capt Loraine Earle confirmed that the police are investigating two inquest cases. She added that no foul play is being suspected.
According to the police the 4 year old boy passed on at the house in Mandela Section, Mokwallo Vredefort. His two siblings, aged 6 and 9, were taken to the hospital, where the 6-year-old girl passed away.
The 9-year-old boy was discharched from hospital this morning (Tuesday 13 March).
