In October, the King expressed his wish to address international nurses and midwives working in the UK.

UK International Nurses and Midwives chose Dawn to represent them for the function at Buckingham Palace on 14 November.

In the presence of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, the King addressed the nurses, expressing his appreciation for what they and the midwives do.

He praised them for their dedication, skill, love and devotion, and said their work was a valuable contribution to the United Kingdom’s National Health Service.

Dawn says the invitation by the King blew her mind and was a great honor.

In her home country, proud friends, family and relatives told the Gazette they admired her devotion and leadership, saying they were blessed to have her representing them and her country internationally.
