Post mortem examination to determine cause of death of toddlers

Our sincere condolences with the family.

Two sisters, aged 3 and 4 years, died on Tuesday afternoon in Mokwallo, Vredefort, after they presumably ate something they bought.
Their mother immediately called for help, and waited for the ambulance at the Vredefort Multi Purpose Centre where the two toddlers died.
A post mortem examination will be done on Thurssday 19 October, to determine the cause of death.
The police on Wednesday morning asked the public to remain calm and refrain from posting information and photos about the incident that have not been verified for the sake of the family, and to allow the police to do their investigation.
