Motorists should note take that the R59 from Sasolburg towards Parys is still closed (Monday 4 September 08:56) for traffic and is expected to remain closed for a couple of hours after a tanker transporting about 60 000 litres of diesel overturned near the Truck Stop before 07:00 this morning.
Emergency teams are on the scene currently to clean the accident scene and diesel spillage.
The driver of the truck was injured and taken to the Metsimahollo hospital.
Use the Barrage road as alternative route.
