Fire protection officer’s sudden death mourned

Our deepest condolences to her family and colleagues.

Colleagues of Lizznett Mohosho mourned her sudden death shortly before 06:00 on Monday morning , just as she was about to go home after she had finished night shift at the Ngwathe Fire and Rescue Department in Parys where she worked as a fire protection officer for the past eight years.

Lizznett collapsed at her car just as she was about to leave the fire station. Parys Medics immediately responded to the call and started emergency treatment, but sadly nothing could be done to save her life. She is believed to have died of a heart attack.

Lizznett grew up in Koppies where she started working at the Ngwathe Municipality. She is survived by her three children and her mother.
