Dr Moeletsi celebrated with Farewell Games

Throughout his work at the department, he had never seen such leadership and love from the SGB council, Dr Moeletsi said.

The Circuit 5 SGB council, under the leadership of the chairperson, Mr Velile Zwayi, deputy chairperson, Mr Nathane, and organiser, Mr Moeketsi Mafohla, hosted farewell games on 23 June to honour and
celebrate Dr Moeletsi at Sindekile Primary School.

They celebrated Dr Moeletsi through soccer, netball and live performances.

Among others who attended the event were the Moeletsi family, Dr Chuta, principals, SGBs, educators, non-teaching personnel and the community of Tumahole.

The teams that won on the day were: Soccer: Silver medals: Non-teaching personnel, gold medals and trophy.
Educators, netball winners: Silver Medals: EAs/GSAs, Gold Medals and Trophy: Educators.

Among others who received medals were the referees.

The event was perfectly organised and successful.

The chairperson spoke on behalf of the SGB Council. In his speech, he said they were blessed to have a
leader like Dr Moeletsi, who was humble, always willing to help and a loving leader.

Mr Nathane represented the non-teaching personnel, while Mr Mlambo spoke on behalf of the principals.

There were performances from Thami Gobidolo and DeejayKTL, while Deejay Pots did the soccer
commentary.

At the end of the event, Dr Moeletsi thanked the SGB council for honouring him while he was still alive; he appreciated their love and efforts. He continued to thank the principals, educators, SMTs, non-teaching
personnel, parents, and the staff in his office.

He was so happy that he was emotional, saying throughout his work at the department, he had never seen such leadership and love from the SGB council. The same council  then presented a gift to him.
