New-born baby found dead in dustbin

ER24 reported that a new-born baby was found dead in a dustbin along DF Malan Drive in Vanderbijlpark on Fathersday, June 19. Shortly after 17:00 paramedics from ER24 were alerted to the scene along DF Malan Drive. When they arrived on scene an elderly man indicated that he noticed the new-born baby boy lying in one of the dustbins. On further inspection, paramedics found the baby. Sadly, it appears as if the baby has been in the bin and dead for some time. They declared him dead and handed the scene over to the local police service. – Werner Vermaak (ER24 Spokesperson).
