And what is this the SPCA had to rescue?

VEREENIGING. - The local SPCA inspectors are always ready to help animals in need! But some days they have to rescue very cute furry friends. Guess what they recently had to rescue?

The Vereeniging SPCA Inspectorate recently received a call about “something” stuck in a gutter in Redan.
On their arrival, they saw only the tail of the animal in need of rescuing. They realised that it was a mongoose that needed their help.
But try as they might, they couldn’t get it ‘unstuck’, but luckily there was a handyman at the scene that made a plan.
The pipe had to be cut in two and the young mongoose was freed from becoming a permanent drainpipe resident. All involved were relieved about this happy ending.
The SPCA would like to state once more, that wild animal belong in the wild.

“Thank you to the residents of Redan and the handyman that came in so handy! The mongoose is now living the high life back in the wild, probably plotting more adventures as we speak,” a spokesperson for the SPCA concluded.
At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
