Skydive on Vaal Parachute Club near Deneysville is hosting an open day on Saturday and Sunday on June 4 and 5 and the fun starts at 09:00.

Skydive on Vaal Parachute Club near Deneysville is hosting an open day on Saturday and Sunday on June 4 and 5 and the fun starts at 09:00.
The public and skydivers are welcome to come and enjoy a cold beer, live music and sunset beach landings.
Tandem jumps for the public will also be available at a cost of R1 700 – R2 600 depending on the video package. Registration for the parachute jumpers is R300 and include a goodie bag and dinner.
Raffle tickets priced R25 can be bought on the day.
The 1st and 2nd prizes are Ponchos or a cooler and include a one year free membership at the club. The third prize is a tandem jump with professional skydiver Cornè Vorster.
All proceeds will be in aid of skydivers. This year’s proceeds will be in aid of Corné Vorster, who broke his his leg during a parachute jump three months ago.
For the skydivers there will be a freefly coaching and load organising talk with Warren Hitchcock.
