First Gr 8 group for Dome Primary School

As of 2023, Dome Primary will be a combined school for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

For the first time, Dome Primary School has a Grade 8 class with 28 learners this year. As of 2023, Dome Primary will be a combined school for learners from Grade R to Grade 12.
The school now has 334 learners and has received five extra classrooms from the department.
Three new personnel members also started at Dome Primary on the first school day of 2023. They are René Jooste (Grade 2), Jurgens Pieterse (Grade 4 and 5), Claudette van der Schyff and Mariska Kemp (Grade 8).

Progress has also been made on the building site in Fourth Avenue, where the new school building for Dome Primary is being built.
The next site meeting will take place on 27 January. The preparation of the building site started in October 2022 and the project is a 20-month contract.
