VANDERBIJLPARK. – ER24 reported that a man luckily escape injury this morning after his truck overturned on the N1 Highway near the R53 turnoff in Vanderbijlpark.

ER24 paramedics received the emergency call and immediately responded to the scene. Upon arrival, paramedics found a large truck lying in the slow lane of the highway blocking traffic. The driver of the vehicle was found walking around on the scene. Paramedics assessed the driver and found that he had fortunately escaped without injury. The man later declined transportation to hospital. It is understood that the driver of the vehicle lost control, causing the truck to overturn. Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
