A new barrier rail has been erected on the N12 opposite Vyfhoek Primary.

A traffic barrier rail was erected by SANRAL (South African National Roads Agency) in front of Vyfhoek Primary on the N12 last week.

This was done to improve the safety on the N12, especially in relation to the tragic accident that claimed five lives of Vyfhoek learners last month.

A truck had an alleged burst tyre which caused the truck to veer across the N12 before crashing into the school
