Bonolo a finalist in Mrs Universe SA

Beautiful and sophisticated, Bonolo Seeco from Parys is a finalist in the Mrs Universe South Africa 2021/2022 pageant. She is currently among the Top 7. Parys residents can vote for her by sending an SMS to 35223 with her name, Bonolo Seeco. The crowning of Mrs Universe SA is on 26 February 2022.

Earlier this year, Bonolo also made it to the semi-finals for Mrs SA 2021. The purpose of Mrs Universe South Africa is to empower, inspire and motivate women and bring sustainable change to our communities, says Bonolo.

She explains that the platform for the competition is domestic violence and abuse. Contestants and title-holders will be creating awareness on domestic abuse and making a difference in the lives of abused women and children.

The pageant offers South African women, married and divorced, an oppor-tunity to reach a wider audience and represent South Africa at Mrs Universe Bonolo was born and raised by her single Mom, Ruth Seeco, in Mafikeng. She was the only girl among her six brothers. She matriculated at Kebonang Secondary School in 2006 and now lives in Parys.

She studied Human Resource Management and practices Support and Computer Studies at Dynamic College of Commerce. She will continue her studies with Unisa next year, doing her Higher Certificate in Tourism Management. Apart from being a motivational speaker, she enjoys playing netball and modelling. Bonolo is passionate about community development and women and youth empowerment.

“I entered the Mrs Universe South Africa Pageant competition with the hope and mission of reviving the dreams of women and youth, empowering them and encouraging them that, no matter where you come from and where you find yourself in life, no matter your age, you can still follow your dreams and make them come true.”

“As the face and brand ambassador of Young Women’s Dignity Organi- sation, sharing the same vision and mission, as we are approaching the holiday season, we would love to reach out to a few young women living in disadvantaged communities with a food hamper.
