Vaccine registration for people 35 to 49-years old starts on 15 July 2021, said Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, acting minister of health during a virtual media conference.
Vaccinations for this group will then start on 1 AugustÂ
How can you register for vaccination?
:
(or use this link:Â https://wa.me/27600123456?text=register)
(No ID Number? Just dial *134*832#)
Registration will take about 5 minutes. Please have your ID, Passport, Refugee Permit or Asylum Seeker Permit *Number* on hand. If you have Medical Aid, you will also be asked for your medical Aid Number.
*Note:*
– Vaccination is voluntary and no payment is required
– No co-payment/levy will be required if you belong to a Medical Aid
– Everyone who registers will be offered vaccination
– We will move down the age groups as quickly as we can
A new vaccination schedule for Parys for the coming week has not been issued as yet.
Though, please remember if you wish to be vaccinated and if you are 50 + years old, you can go as a Walk in to any vaccination centre such as Witrand Hospital in Potchefstroom. You don’t need Medical Aid, you don’t have to be registered, you don’t need to wait for a confirmation date, and you don’t have to do it in Parys – just take your ID.
If you can register beforehand it will save you time though.
