Covid-19 vaccination for local primary health care workers

This includes all health care workers including those in pharmacies, at doctors consulting rooms, dentists, care homes, physiopherapists, occupational therapists, clinics, hospitals etc.

  Covid-19 vaccination for health care workers in Parys, Vredefort, Viljoenskroon and Koppies in both the public and private sector, started today, Tuesday 13 April, at the Parys District Hospital, and will continue till Thursday 15 April. This includes all health care workers including those in pharmacies, at doctors consulting rooms, dentists, care homes, physiopherapists, occupational therapists, clinics, hospitals etc.

 

Health care workers are invited to register prior to vacciantion on EVDS at https:/vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za Select Parys Hospital as vaccination site when you register. Secondly, apply to Sisonke Vaccine Programme as well as at https://sisonke. samrc.ac.za/ On the day of vaccination bring along your vaccination registration code received, your ID and HPCSA registration where relevant. Remember that you cannot be vaccinated under the following conditions:

* Diagnosed with Covid-19 recently – wait 90 days.

* Received a flu vaccine recently – wait 14 days.

* Received a Hepatitus B immunization recently – wait 14 days.

* If pregnant, please consult your doctor for advise.
