BONOLO AGYEI, from Parys has been announced  a Mrs South Africa Top Semi Finalist for 2021, out of a record number of entries received by the organisation. Her journey began as a Semi-Finalist, on the 5th of March, where she was announced virtually on the Mrs South Africa Instagram page, along with the other beautiful, sophisticated and married women from all over South Africa. Bonolo attended an empowerment workshop held at Emperors Palace, to prepare the class of 2021 for the journey ahead. Mrs South African is a journey that has gained the reputation of a Women-Empowerment Program and pride itself on producing the very best in real, relatable and modern South African Women. The program celebrates marriage and the essence of being a Bonafide woman. The program was created for married women who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors for South Africa, on a global scale. The opportunities and platform that have been created for Mrs South Africa entrants are significant in every way and truly creates a ripple effect across our beautiful country. Through the journey, women find themselves again and learn that they are never too old to follow their dreams and become voices of change. ‘’Being chosen as Semi-Finalist alongside other remarkable women made me feel extremely honoured, it feels like a reassurance of my childhood dream that I worked hard for but never thought I would achieve. The opportunity also gives me the courage to bring difficult conversation to the table to inspire change in behaviour and allow everyone to participate in changing their communities and the rest of South Africa for future generations, ” says Bonolo. “I am looking forward to learning something from everyone on this journey as we are all unique and each one of us has something different to offer. I am overwhelmed that I got a chance to represent my Province and shine my light during this challenging and exciting time.’’
