The police in Tumahole are looking for 26-year-old Tshepo Kenneth Motaung to help them solve a murder case. At about 18:00 on Friday, 22 January, the police received a complaint of a possible body buried in a shallow grave at one of the houses in Tambo section, Tumahole.
The police responded to the call and discovered the body of 17-year-old Dieketseng Suzan Tsotetsi. The concerned community members informed the police that they had seen Motaung digging a big hole in his aunt’s yard. They first thought he would throw rubbish in it, but later noticed that the hole was closed, and the garbage was still there. On Sunday evening, 24 January, the suspect was seen selling his aunt’s tele- vision and fridge.
On Monday, 25 January, he left his aunt’s house carrying bags. He never returned home. Anyone with information on Tshepo’s whereabouts should contact Detective Sergeant Andre Jacobs on 082 465 3140.
