The contents of the  Human Rights Commission’s report on the sewage problem in the Vaal River will be discussed tomorrow, Wednesday 17 February from 09:15 to 09:45 in a radio interview on Thetha FM (100.6MF),  as well as with the Department of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation, the Vaal Environmental Justice Alliance and Professor Johann Tempelhoff during a webinar on the same day between 10:00 and 11:00.

The South African Human Rights Commission’s Gauteng Office undertook an inquiry into the sewage problem in the Emfuleni Local Municipality between 25 and 27 September 2018 and had also visited Parys that was directly impacted by the sewage problem.
