According to Hilary Mophethe, spokesperson for the Department of Police, Roads and Transport in the Free State,  the Parys Licence and Testing Station is open after extensive damage to the statio’s equipment end of last year due to a thunder storm.

Although eye testing can still not be done at the station, she said that all other services can be rendered.  It is advisable that should the transaction you need to do requires an eye test, to visit your optometrist before hand for the applicable certificate. Also remember to bring along a certified copy of your ID, proof of address, a pen and all other documentation needed. And don’t forget your mask.
