BARRAGE. – The Barrage Police have opened an inquest following the discovery of a body of a man in a river in Mullersrus Plots, Barrage earlier this year.
Police Spokesperson Sergeant Nombulelo Mohlakoana said that police were called after the owner of a plot found the body of the man floating in the river when he went to check his fishing rods which he had left standing next to the river.
“On his arrival he saw a tree branch in the river and noticed that there was a body floating not far from the tree branch, he then called the police.”
Mohlakoana said that the deceased was found with minor injuries and without clothes on.
