Another setback for licencing and testing station

The Parys Traffic Department’s Licening and Testing Station has been offline sine Monday morning due to copper cable theft on the Telkom lines.

This affects all transactions that needs to be done online. Repair of the lines is expected to start tomorrow, Wednesday 26 August, and was delayed because of cable availability

On the photo is A.O. Andries Phele from the SAPS’ Forensic Services  on the scene where the copper was stolen from Telkom lines in the industrial area of Parys.
