Community announcement regarding water and electricity in Tumahole and Schonkenville

Residents are kindly informed that due to a broken pump at the Parys water purification plant, areas such as Mandela, Lusaka, Vuka, Mbeki, Tambo, Zuma, Winnie, Skotiphola, Old Location, Ghana, Phelandaba were highly affected, however, the pump has been fixed and pumping has started.

On the other hand, theft and vandalism at the Schonkenville electricity mini substation, has left some parts of Schonkenville area without electricity. The matter is being reported to the law enforcement authorities and municipal technicians are already on site with the intention to restore electricity supply.
