Parys and Vredefort Police Stations remain closed for now

Parys total now at 46

On Monday 6 July Parys already had a total of 46 confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Today both the Parys and Vredefort Police Stations were temporarily closed for decontamination following positive Covid-19 testing.

The Parys Police Station will according to preliminary indications remain closed till Monday 13 July.

The Community Service Centre (CSC) for Parys has  in the meanwhile been moved to the canteen for the period of decontamination. The entrance is in Venus Street next to the Parys Magistrate Court premises. The CSC will still be able to record all reports and complaints.

The Vredefort CSC has been moved to the Municipal Chamber c/o Vrey and Kerk Street. According to preliminary indications the Vredefort Police Station will reopen on Saturday 11 July.

Yesterday (Wednesday 8 July) Checkers Parys was temporarily closed following positive Covid-19 testing, but reopened again the same afternoon.
