On 4 July the 5 Ngwathe towns had a total of 89 confirmed Covid-19 positive cases.

This includes 35 cases for Parys, 39 in Heilbron, 10 in Koppies, 2 in Edenville and 3 in Vredefort.

With regard to cumulative screening and testing within the Ngwathe Municipal borders, the Free State Department of Health confirmed 367 174 screenings and 6 224 tests.
